Employer: Placement Point (Pty) Ltd

A dynamic company based in Marlboro is looking for a Polyurethane Additives / Product Sales Executive

Duties:

Not overseeing any staff
Reporting to the CEO / Managing Director
To manage and grow a sector of the business in South and Central Africa (the candidate will be based in Johannesburg but will be responsible for customer sales throughout RSA and the Sadec region)
Will be expected to maintain existing accounts as well as to develop new business opportunities
Techno-commercial liaison with overseas Principals
Techno-commercial interface with customers
Develop excellent understanding of products / applications
Understand customer needs / specifications
Develop sales projects in keeping with business strategy
Manage inventory inputs relative to sales and forecasts
Develop business plans and report on variances monthly
Candidate Requirements
Requirements:

Don’t necessarily need the Polyurethane experience, but do need someone with chemical knowledge / education
Business Management skills
BSc in Chemistry or applied chemistry / polymer science or equivalent, plus
At least 10 years’ experience in sales of chemicals into the Polymer, PU, Resins, Coatings, or related sectors
Appropriate hands-on management experience
Appropriate industry knowledge
Own vehicle and valid drivers license
Non-smoker
English speaking
(M – F) 08:00 – 17:00
