Union Human Resource Development Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal while interacting with students today, i.e. 5th May 2020 during webinar told that much-awaited IIT-JEE-MAIN Exam will be held from 18 July 2020 and goes for 6 Consecutive Days, i.e. 18,19, 20, 21,22 and 23 July 2020. The advance exam will be held next month, i.e. in August 2020. Medical Exam NEET 2020 will be held just after completion of IIT- JEE (MAIN) means from 26 July 2020.
During the Webinar, When ask about CBSE 12 Board Exams Union HRD Minister said that decision will be taken in the next two days and will be announced.
USE Online Platform SWAYAM For preparation
Union HRD Minister also suggested that during lockdown student can use Swayam online platform. He also said that with the help of this platform Students from class 9 till post-graduation can study free lectures. Courses are prepared by India’s best teacher.
SWAYAM portal is very helpful for students
Union HRD Minister also announced that FEES Hike would not be there in the upcoming session in Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and National Institute of Technology (NIT). Student can do courses on old fees.
Union HRD Minister also said that for next session JEE MAINS and NEET would be conducted with the reduced syllabus as so much academic time is wasted due to this corona pandemic.
According to data given by NTA ( National Testing Agency) More than 15 Lakh students registered for NEET this year. NEET is the entrance exam for students who want to come in the medical profession. While 9 lakh students registered for JEE- Mains
. JEE- Mains is the prelims for getting admission in Best Engineering colleges of India. Applicants qualified in JEE-Mains are eligible for JEE-Advance. NTA(National Testing Agency) is the exam conducting body of HRD Ministry of India responsible for organizing entrance exams for Medical and Engineering colleges in India.
