India’s One of the biggest e-commerce Company Myntra has changed its Logo. This Decision of change in logo of Myntra comes after a complaint lodged by an NGO Activist. Women Activist files a complaint in Cyber Cell of Police. In her Complain she says that this logo is disrespect towards women. After this Complain Myntra has decided to change it’s logo.

Compain Against Myntra Logo was filled by Naaz Patel who is an activist of Mumbai Based NGO Avesta Foundation. She Filed This Complain on December 2020. After Filing Complain Naaz Raise this Issue on Several Social Media Platforms.
What’s the Problem in Myntra Logo?
In Myntra Every Men and Woman does Shopping and in the logo they show women as a product. If we look clearly in the Logo it can be seen that a woman is opening its leg. This position women make when they have private moments with there male partners. In Every Advertisement, We can see that Women is shown as a product. In Perfume Advertisement, a Boy Sprays perfume in his body and after few moments we see girls around them as if they want to show that women’s are product and they are just there to impress men and men can use it anyway they want.
Myntra requests one month time from Police to charge logo
After The complaint was filed against Myntra. They request one month from the police to change it’s logo. DCP Rashmi Karandikar of Cyber Crime Department of Mumbai Police said that – “We found that this logo is disrespectful towards women. After the complaint, we sent an E-mail to Myntra and after that E-mail officers of Myntra comes and meet us. Officers told us that they will change there logo in One Month.”
