IPL-13  Scheduled – The first match will be between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings on 19th September 2020. The Final will be played on 10th November 2020. 24 matches will be held in Dubai and 20 matches will be held in Abu-Dhabi.

IPL-13  Matches Scheduled 2020

Due to Covid-19 IPL 2020 will be held from 19th September to 10th November.  The first match will be held on 19th September 2020 and the last match will happen on 10th November 2020.

Matches will be held half an hour before there scheduled time i.e 3:30 P.M. and 7:30 P.M. According to the scheduled Dubai will host 24 matches, Abu Dhabi will host 20 matches and Sharjah will host 12 matches of Season 13 of IPL. The venue for the playoffs and final will be announced later

BCCI on Sunday announced the scheduled of IPL -13. According to this scheduled first time in history, the final will be played on Tuesday instead of Sunday. In this season of IPL, there are 10 doubleheaders means there will 2-2 matches on that 10 days.

Unlimited Corona Substitute will be in each team

Due to Covid-19 Panademic IPL Governing Council has allowed only 24 players per franchise. In previous seasons this number is 25. Also, the Governing Council has Allowed Unlimited Corona Substitute during the tournament. Corona Substitute means if during IPL Tournament if any players get corona positive then teams can substitute that player with the other 13 players sitting on the bench.

All Matches will be played in 3 Stadiums

All 60 Matches of IPL-13 will be held in 3 stadiums Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah. In India, these matches were held on 8 Stadiums. Since there are only 3 Stadiums it is easy to have an eye on Match Fixing and corruption in this season of IPL. This was said by Ajit Singh, Head of Anti Corruption Unit(ACU), BCCI.

Suspense on Cricketers of England and Australia

There is suspense on cricketers of England and Australia that whether players of these teams will be playing from there franchise in the first week or second week of the tournament. It is Because the last match between these two teams will be held on 16th Septemeber 2020 in Manchester and the players of these will be departing on 16th or on 17th September from London to Dubai.

After reaching Dubai, Players have to undergo Corona Test. If test reports come negative then only players are allowed to play but if test Reports come positive then the player has to undergo Seven Days Isolation.

In this way, players will be joining their franchise in the second week of the IPL Tournament. But the franchise earlier said that players will be coming to Dubai in Bio-Secure Environment hence there is no need for isolation of these players.

What’s New in IPL-13

1- On Every Fifth-day players and staff have to undergo a corona test.

2- Every Franchise is allowed to take Unlimited corona substitute with them

3- This time due to corona tournament will be conducted in a Bio-Secure environment without Visitors

4- All the matches will be played half an hour before there scheduled time i.e the match which was played at 4:00 P.M. before will be played at 3:30 P.M. and the matches which were scheduled to be played at 8:00 P.M. will be played at 7:30 P.M. in this season.

5- First time in the history of the IPL-13 the Final will not be played on Sunday rather it will be played on Week Day

6- There will be 10 Headers in the tournament i.e on that day 2-2 Matches will be played.

7- Commentators will be doing live commentary while sitting at home.
